Dr. Esmail Karamidehkordi obtained his PhD on Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the University of Reading and started his work in the Department of Agricultural Extension, Communication and Rural Development (AECRD), at the University of Zanjan in 2008. He was the head of AECRD and the Director of International Scientific Cooperation of the University of Zanjan (2011-2020), and was appointed as the Director General of Agricultural Extension at Ministry of Jahad Agriculture (2019-2020). He has continued his career at Tarbiat Modares University since October 2020. He has acted as the NCP of Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) for the Convention on Biodiversity, the NCP of Horizon Europe, the International Focal point of UNAI hub-SDG15, the National Coordinator of UI Greenmetric World University Ranking, and the Lead Author of IPBES Transformative Change Assessment.
